ABOUT BALLOON KNIGHT

Balloon Knight is a middle-grade comic series currently in production, written by M. Bastarache with artwork by Alison Acton. Together, we are building a world filled with imagination, humor, and heart, one that invites children to explore, laugh, and dream.

At its core, Balloon Knight is about believing in yourself. We set out to create a story that feels wonderfully unexpected, filled with playful moments and something to smile about on every page. But beneath the adventure and humor is a deeper message: that imagination is a powerful tool, and that every child has the ability to grow, overcome challenges, and become something amazing.

Through Ry’s journey, we hope to show that even with obstacles or differences, a person can still be brave, kind, and a hero in their own way. Balloon Knight celebrates creativity, resilience, and the idea that everyone, no matter who they are, has the power to make a difference.
